We are seeking people who have a relationship with Jesus and passion for praising Him. Choir will not only change your life, but you will also be directly involved in impacting countless lives for the glory of God.
This Choir leads in weekly worship services and is an integral part of special presentations throughout the year. The variety of musical style is broad, encompassing classical, gospel, spirituals, country-western and contemporary. Choral tone, musicianship training and worship leadership is included as part of the Choir’s weekly training.
Participation in Celebration Singers is by audition and open to anyone of high school age or above that desires to use their voice in praise and worship of God.
Instrumental praise is a very important part of the worship life at Church of the Highlands, adding vibrancy to worship services and special presentations. If you are an experienced player who wants to use the gifts and talents the Lord has blessed you with, the Highlands Instrumental Program may be for you!
Bands and/or Orchestra play for Sunday morning and evening worship services and perform as part of special musical presentations throughout the year. The instrumental music program is open by audition to anyone of high school age or above.
Lifelong worship begins in childhood. Worship and the knowledge of music are vital parts of a child’s spiritual and artistic growth. The Children’s Choir program incorporates teaching children spiritual concepts while experiencing and learning about music. In addition to singing for Sunday worship services, the children also participate in special musical presentations. We have just the right place for your child to experience the joy of praising the Lord.
A very unique musical ministry, the Handbell Choir participates in worship services and performs in special musical presentations throughout the year. The group is open to anyone of junior high school age or above. Music reading ability, although not required, is desired. Handbell ringing technique is taught as a part of the Choir’s weekly training.
