At Church of the Highlands we believe in the power of prayer, and we are grateful for the privilege. We offer several opportunities for people to gather together in prayer and we are happy to pray for your needs.

Prayer Requests

We are here to pray for you whatever your needs might be. You may call the church office, contact us through the website, or write a note on your Sunday registration form and we will join with you in prayer. We have a group of people, along with our pastors, elders and staff, who are dedicated to praying for your needs. If you need prayer for healing, employment, comfort, guidance, salvation of a loved one, or another need, we will pray for you.

Healing Services

Prayer for Healing - On 5th Sundays, we offer a time during the morning services for people to come forward for prayer and anointing by our pastors and elders. If you or a loved one need prayer for healing (physical, spiritual, emotional or relational) come to a healing service and let us pray with you.

Group Prayer

Early Morning Prayer - Each weekday, we have a prayer and Bible reading time from 5:00 to 6:30 AM. Join us on your way to work or school.

Sunday Morning Prayer - On Sunday mornings, from 7:45 to 8:15 AM in Room 101, people can gather to pray for the worship services, the Sunday school classes, the pastors, and the congregation.

All Church Prayer & Devotion - Everyone is welcome to join us as we gather for a time of prayer and praise. We gather at our COH-Glenview Campus (Peace Lutheran) on 1st & 3rd Thursdays at 7:00 PM. For more information about opportunities for group prayer, call Pastor Bert Cortez at 650.266.4309.

Women's Prayer

We have several opportunities for women to come together for prayer.

• Moms In Touch and Madres Unidas Para Orar prayer groups meet from September thru May at various locations and times, on different days of the week. Call for most current schedule.

• Women's Prayer Group on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM

• LEAP Prayer Encounters are held at various times during the year. Watch for future events.
