Singles


Mission - To help Christian singles grow into wholeness in Jesus Christ and to reach out to other singles who need a relationship with Jesus. (Colossians 1:24-29 and 4:2-6)

Vision: - To create and promote activities and ministries that bring singles together around Christ.

We offer a variety of small group ministries that are oriented toward service, prayer, fellowship, support or discipleship. Childcare is available for all of our meetings. To request a monthly newsletter, contact Pastor Dave Smith at 650.266.4318.

Singles Night Alive Program
7:30 PM in the Sanctuary

Current Theme:
Love Languages for Singles

Followed at 9:00 PM by Fellowship Time in the cafeteria

Join us each Friday for a great time of praise, worship, music, fellowship, food, testimonies and a message.

Saturdays

We are a very active group. Some of our activities:
potlucks and picnics, theatre and concerts, special occasion dinners, unusual outings (like whale watching), trips to other cities, hikes and sports, game nights, movies and seminars.

Sunday Morning

Singles In The Word
10:00 AM
Join us for Sunday School! A great way to make friends in a smaller group setting.

Tuesday Night

Relationship Building - 7:00 PM - On break - watch for next start date.
A class for singles of all ages. Our focus is building our relationship with God and with others.

DivorceCare - 7:00 PM
A support group for those who are separated, divorced, or who have ended a relationship. The group meets for 13 sessions which repeat in a round-robin style, so you can start at any time.

Ministry Activities

Convalescent Hospital Visitation - a team visits two hospitals (one in Pacifica and one in San Bruno) on two Sunday afternoons a month - singing, preaching and individual conversation

International Students at SF State - an outreach every Thursday at Temple Baptist Church in SF - in cooperation witih International Students Inc - helping them to practice English and introducing them to American culture - also occasional trips

Socks for Needy - an Easter outreach that provides socks, toiletries and goodies for homeless

Shoebox Ministry -  a Christmas outreach that provides gifts for children in need overseas
