Welcome! Thank you for visiting the website of Church of the Highlands, San Bruno, California (located just 10 minutes from the San Francisco International Airport).

Church of the Highlands is a Christ-centered, Bible-teaching church helping people fall in love with Jesus Christ through a great commitment to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40).

You’ll find a warm, caring environment here at Highlands. We have ministries and classes for all age groups with childcare provided during all worship services (except the 7:00 AM Sunday morning service) and during most weeknight and weekend events. We are a multi-cultural church family with a strong emphasis on Christian education and missions (local and world-wide). We are also home to Highlands Christian Schools (18 months old through 8th grade) and Daybreak Radio on KFAX (AM 1100).

Pastor Donald B. Sheley founded Church of the Highlands on October 3, 1959, and on October 3, 2009, Church of the Highlands celebrated 50 years of God’s faithfulness.
