Weddings

We hold marriage to be a sacred and lasting commitment, and we believe that our pastors are accountable before God for the marriages they perform. For this reason, we put great emphasis on marriage preparation. We require at least one year's attendance here at Church of the Highlands, completion of a twelve-session pre-marriage counseling program, and approval from the pastor. There are certain times of the year when our sanctuary is not available for Saturday weddings due to special holiday preparations and events.

Pre-Marriage Classes are held twice a year 

This 8-week class will be held on Sundays in Room 104. Completion is required for those planning to be married here at Highlands, and for those who wish to have one of our pastors officiate your off-site wedding. The class fee is $40 per couple. You will be sent a Wedding Information Guide and pre-counseling forms which must be completed and returned before the class. Each couple must meet with Pastor David Smith prior to the class start.
