Baptism and Baby Dedication

Baptisms (3rd Sunday) and baby dedications (4th Sunday) are scheduled during the 11:30 AM worship service so the congregation may participate in prayerful support.

BAPTISM

Baptism at Church of the Highlands requires completion of the Baptism Preparation Class, which is taught by Pastor Bert Cortez on Wednesday evenings at 7:30. Scheduling for baptism after completing the class is not automatic. Baptisms must be scheduled for the 3rd Sunday of the month a week in advance by calling Kiké at (650) 266-4301.

How old should children be before they are baptized? AUDIO ANSWER

BABY DEDICATION

At the heart of a baby dedication is the dedication of Dad and Mom, because God has gifted you with this marvelous gift of life. You can effect their little life in so many, many ways; to love Christ. And we pray that God will give you great wisdom and that your home will be filled with the love of Jesus. So that when this little one grows up, the most natural thing for them to do is to love Jesus just like Mom and Dad do.

Baby dedications are only scheduled following the parents' acknowledgment of their responsibilities and return of the Baby Dedication Request form.
