Marriage Ministries

Marriage is a special gift from God...it is a union that requires prayerful preparation and constant attention. At Church of the Highlands we endeavor to help couples build marriages that will overcome all obstacles and last a lifetime.

Pre-Marriage Counseling  We offer counseling to help couples prepare for a lifetime together. More important than the wedding, the marriage requires a great deal of planning and preparation. With godly preparation, the wedding day will pass-the marriage will go on. It will stand the test of time through joys and sorrows, successes and trials. It will be the fulfillment of two lives united and blessed by God
Young Couples Class This group meets on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM. Young married couples join together to grow in God's word.
Homebuilders Class This group meets on Sunday mornings at 10 AM. Most in this group are long-time married couples.
Marriage Retreats & 
Special Event's 		 We occasionally have special events for couples that allow for fellowship and celebration of the wonderful institution of marriage. These include off-site banquets, retreats, picnics, and potlucks.
Marriage Counseling Sometimes marriages need help to get or stay on track. Bible-based counseling is available for couples who want their marriages steadied on God's foundation.
