Evangelism 101 - On The Job Training

There are so many ways to tell our family and friends about Jesus Christ. Opportunities occur every day in which we can be instruments of God in soul winning. But, too frequently, we do not speak about our faith due to fear or a sense of frustration in not knowing what to say or how to say it. Come and learn several effective ways of bringing family and friends to Christ. We will be using our Bibles and materials from Witnessing Workshop.

Pastor Cortez has a passion for equipping people to share their faith. He came to Jesus Christ as a young man while working in the shipyards. As a pastor here at Highlands, Bert heads our Filipino ministries and teaches a variety of classes including Baptism Preparation, New Believers, and Evangelism Training.

Old Testament Survey

An overview of the Pentateuch (Genesis through Deuteronomy) and the historical books (Joshua through Judges) of the Bible. Nine weeks of classes.

Pastor Bishop is a graduate of Eugene Bible College and has spent 40 years as a senior and staff pastor. He has been at Highlands for twelve years as pastor and teacher in Highlands Christian Schools.
